Promotes educational and spiritual growth in the parish community by planning and evaluating faith formation opportunities for parishioners of all ages

Children’s Liturgy of the Word Volunteer (201)

Facilitates opportunity for children who have not received their Frist Communion (pre-K through 2nd grade) to learn about the Gospel at their own level during Sunday Mass; volunteers over age 18 must have undergone archdiocesan Safe Environment training 

Vacation Bible School Volunteer (202)

Facilitates summer Vacation Bible School for children in pre-K through 5th grade and assists with lessons, activities, games, crafts, and snacks; volunteers over age 18 must have undergone archdiocesan Safe Environment training

RCIA Team Member (205)

Assists as a catechist, mentor, and/or sponsor throughout the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults program to welcome and initiate adults to full communion in the Catholic Church

Baptism Preparation Volunteer (206)

Accompanies parents and helps them prepare for the baptism of their child and for nourishing a lifelong faith in their child

First Reconciliation & Communion Preparation Volunteer (207)

Serves as a catechist and/or prayer partner for children (2nd grade) preparing to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist; must have undergone archdiocesan Safe Environment training

Confirmation Preparation Volunteer (208)

Serves as a witness of faith and/or assists as a catechist for Confirmation preparation sessions for youth (8th grade); must have undergone archdiocesan Safe Environment training

Marriage Preparation Volunteer (209)

In a couple-to-couple format, married couples help engaged couples prepare for the sacrament of Holy Matrimony

Family Days Volunteer (210)

Assists with monthly Family Day gatherings for families of all sizes and ages; must have undergone archdiocesan Safe Environment training

High School Youth Ministry Volunteer (211)

Coordinates and chaperones service and formation events for high school students; must have undergone archdiocesan Safe Environment training

Young Adult Ministry Volunteer (212)

Coordinates service, social, and formation events for young adults and young families

Adult Faith Formation Volunteer (213)

Assists as a catechist, table facilitator, or general volunteer for adult faith formation programs
