Worship Committee (000)
Ensures that liturgies are reverent, prayerful, beautiful, and foster active participation from the assembly; responsible for nurturing the spiritual life and growth of the parish community
Sacristan (009)
Responsible for setting up before and cleaning up after Masses; participates in the daily and weekly maintenance of the sacristy, liturgical vessels, and sanctuary
Altar Server (001)
Assists the priest throughout the celebration of the Mass and models active participation for the assembly; open to boys and girls from 5th grade through adulthood
Lector (007)
Proclaims the Word of God at Masses and other liturgies; must be an articulate public speaker who has a reverence for Scripture and is committed to practice and ongoing formation
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (004)
Lay ministers who assist the clergy with the distribution of the Body and Blood of Christ to the faithful during Mass; must have a deep reverence for the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, attend archdiocesan training sessions, and be committed to ongoing formation
EMHCs for the Homebound (010)
Lay ministers who bring Communion to homebound parishioners and residents of nearby medical and long-term care facilities; must first be trained and commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at Masses
Hospitality Minister/Usher/Greeter (005)
Greets parishioners, welcomes visitors, and assists with seating and taking up the collection during Masses; should be outgoing and friendly, and be committed to arriving early to Mass
Cantor (002)
Experienced musician who leads the sung prayer of the community at weekend Masses; must have a clear and pleasant singing voice and be committed to studying the psalms and ongoing practice
Choir Member (003)
Sings at designated Masses and special liturgies throughout the year; open to men and women of high school age and older with a pleasant singing voice and a commitment to ongoing practice
Instrumentalists (006)
Experienced musicians who provide support to the assembly’s sung prayer; all instruments are welcome
Rosary Club (008)
Gathers weekly to pray the Rosary together, and occasionally provides a prayerful presence at funeral vigils
Arts and Environment Committee (500)
Responsible for church decorations on a weekly and seasonal basis, ensuring that the parish church is a beautiful and reverent space that fosters worship
Church Linens (502)
Assists in the care for and laundering of altar linens on a weekly rotation
